News

Digital Pill has been in its pilot phase for several months and next year will be going into a phase of more regular posting. Its been very interesting watching the amount of traffic grow when there is still so little content on the site. Thanks to everyone who posted a comment and has made requests – mostly requests for more content.

At this point in the year I just wanted to thanks a few people who have helped make it possible . . .

Phil Greenwood the blog and techno mastermind from Big Trousers has given endless amounts of help to set up the blog and advice on how to generate traffic and what is the LATEST on the web as well as helping the look of the video improve.

Kim Lynch from the Reef who has designed the graphic content.

Dean Hilson, King Marong and Lamine Sonko for being guinea pigs in the video. Luckily they are happy with the results.

And everyone who has clicked on the links and bought one of my CDs or bought a tune from iTunes

Paul Williamson says he has pledged to post a sax video BEFORE the end of the year.

Thanks everyone,

Leo

I used to play sax in Melbourne up to the mid-1990s with bands like Man Friday and others. As a matter of fact, I think of myself as only starting to slowly get a handle on the instrument after having briefly jammed with Dean Hilson and the Sidewalks in Bourke Street in 1986. That was a huge inspiration for me. Dean was already incredible back then, of course.

After many years of not playing I have just recently decided to get back into it. I’ve also been asked to play with the bassist Steve Hunter up here in Sydney and so went on a feverish search for some practicing ideas that could help me get back to a good standard of playing quickly, given a mighty consistent effort, of course. I then came across this website. The posts have been invaluable.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

    Harry
